Common questions about living at Parry Terraces
🚗 Parking
How do I update my parking space information?
Go to the Unit Directory page, select your unit number, and update your parking space and plate number details. It's that easy!
Can I have visitor parking?
No. There is no visitor parking available at Parry Terraces. Please use only your allocated parking spot (or garage/driveway for 3-bedroom units). All other vehicles must park on the street.
What about the spaces with diagonal lines?
Do NOT park in spaces marked with diagonal lines. These are no-parking zones and must remain clear at all times.
Can I swap parking spaces with another unit owner?
Contact the committee to discuss parking space arrangements. Any permanent changes should be documented.
🐾 Pets
Can I have a pet?
Yes! You can keep one cat OR one small dog (under 8kg) without prior consent. For other pets or larger animals, you must apply for consent using the pet consent form.
Important: All pets must be registered with the committee, even if they don't require consent. This helps us keep proper records.
Do I need approval for my small cat/dog?
You don't need approval if it's one cat OR one dog weighing less than 8kg, but you must still register your pet with the committee. Use the pet consent form to register.
Can I have two dogs?
You'll need to apply for consent using the pet consent form. Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis.
What if my pet causes problems?
You're responsible for ensuring your pet doesn't disturb other residents or damage common property. The committee may require removal of a pet if issues arise. See the pet rules for full details.

What happens if I pay late?
Interest of 10% per annum accrues on any debt unpaid after the due date until payment is received.
What do my levies cover?
Your levies cover Body Corporate management, insurance, cleaning, garden maintenance, waste management, water, electricity for common areas, repairs and maintenance, and contingency funds. See the current budget for full details.
♻️ Rubbish & Recycling
When is rubbish collected?
Regular collection occurs on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The green bin for lawn waste is collected when full.
Can I put furniture/appliances in the rubbish area?
NO. Inorganic items (electrical appliances, furniture, large items) are NOT to be disposed of in regular rubbish. Leaving these is considered DUMPING and you will be billed for collection services. Please contact the committee if you need to arrange collection of large items.

Who do I contact about maintenance issues?
For issues in common areas, please contact the committee or email Crockers at lina@crockers.co.nz. Please notify us promptly of any issues.

You're responsible for the interior of your unit. The Body Corporate is responsible for common property and building exteriors. See the rules for specifics.
